The Glenfarg Fishery is a fly fishing pond 4-5 acres in size it is located in the Perthsire hills behind Glenfarg, Milnathort and Dunning

The Glenfarg Fishery is also part of Trout Masters the UKs biggest and best fly fishing competition entry is free with 250 fisheries taking part.

The Glenfarg Fishery is stocked with rainbow trout, blue trout, we also offer the chance to catch natural brown trout sized at 2lbs to 12lbs they always returned.

 The Glenfarg Fishery welcomes anyone intrested in fly fishing. We can teach you the basics and we have really good modern rods on site free of charge to use. The Glenfarg Fishery also has a fishing hut offering free tea and coffee and toilet facilities

 I cannot encourage enough people to take it up so if you are at all interested please get in touch. Juniors and adults have there own prices and competitions even trout masters have a juniors final.

Every month at the Glenfarg Fishery we hold a fishing competition everyone is more than welcome to enter it's always the 1st Sunday of the month at 3 pm till dark, with the heaviest bag winning prizes, a fun days fishing in all weather even in the snow we always make a day of it.

The Glenfarg Fishery is set nearly 1000ft up and is fed by a natural spring keeping the water clean even in the wet days when discolouring would be expected it was man made over 25 years ago and until April 2007 it was unused for 12 years.

Fly fishing in Perthshire has seen a decline with a few fisheries having to close so your custom is always really appreciated and well needed, so help support fly fishing and help us encourage people to learn..
